Our Impact
Empowering Every Student’s Journey with Tailored Support and Proven Methods
We are committed to transforming our students academic experiences. We work with a diverse range of learners with learning exceptionalities. Specifically, we work with students with learning disabilities, those working below grade level, and those requiring general academic support.
Our teaching approach focuses on providing academic remediation support through Direct Instruction (DI), a research-based teaching methodology that significantly improves student learning outcomes. The proven benefits of DI include explicit and systematic teaching, repetition and practice, immediate feedback, and proven effectiveness.
We specialize in supporting students with the following learning exceptionalities:
Learning Disabilities (LD): Many of our students are diagnosed with neurologically-based processing obstacles. This can affect their learning of reading and writing skills, and their problem-solving abilities in mastering math concepts. LD's also may hinder higher-level skills such as organization, time planning, and abstract reasoning. DI helps students overcome these challenges by providing clear, explicit, and systematic instruction helping students understand exactly what they must do, eliminating ambiguity and confusion in learning.
Grade Level: Some of our students may not meet grade level expectations for various reasons, including gaps in their foundational knowledge or inconsistent educational experiences. Our DI programs provide tailored support to help students catch up and build a solid academic base.
General Academic Support: We also help students who may not have a specific learning disability or are meeting grade level expectations, but still need extra help academically. We help students develop effective study habits, organizational skills, and academic strategies. Additionally, we also help students organize coursework, assignments, and study materials.
Whether our students need academic remediation support for reading comprehension, math problem-solving, or any other subject, our commitment to using the DI teaching methodology has improved our students’ learning outcomes.

Inspiring Every Learner: Tailored Academic Remediation and Direct Instruction (DI)
Our academic remediation services help a diverse range of learners which is highly rewarding and effective. For students with LD’s our approach focuses on individualized support for dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, and those with broader learning differences support through targeted, structured, and effective evidence-based programming.
Academic remediation and DI are particularly effective for students with several types of learning exceptionalities, especially those related to reading and math. Here are some key areas where these approaches are beneficial:
Dyslexia: DI is highly effective for improving reading comprehension and word recognition skills in students with dyslexia. DI involves delivering explicit, systematic teaching of phonics and reading strategies.
Dyscalculia: DI helps students with dyscalculia by breaking down mathematical concepts into smaller, manageable steps and providing plenty of practice and repetition.
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD): For students with ADHD benefit from the structure and clarity of DI, as it helps to maintain focus and engagement.
General Learning Disabilities: Academic remediation supports students with broader learning exceptionalities by providing targeted interventions that address specific skill deficits.
